Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years working in an oil and gas producing field location. Must have at least five (5) years’ experience working as an HVAC in SPDC.

Roles and Responsibilities
The HVAC Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
- Interpretation of equipment instruction and maintenance manuals, schematic drawings, and diagnosis.
- Use of diagnostic tools and HVAC hand tools for testing and fault tracing in Hazardous Area Classifications.
- Asset Integrity assurance, PM/CM inspections and close-out on SAP.
- Work preparations and material staging for work executions.
- Daily proactive monitoring of rotating and safety & production critical equipment.
- Isolation/De-isolation of electrical equipment for Electrical/non-electrical activities.
- Job Risk Assessments / Permit to Work Preparation.
- Identifying critical spares and follow-up ordering and delivery.
- Promotes site safety and continuous hazard identification, mitigation, and close-out.
- Work closely with service Contractor(s) to safely deliver vendor-based maintenance jobs.
- Other assignments for continuous improvements (AMS process application: RCAs, MTO, MEC etc.) as exigent.
Work Cycle and Conditions
- The work location is a land-based (Gbaran Ubie integrated Gas plant) accessible via land and Air.
- The job activity period is daily on a 12-hour (7 am to 7 pm) routine over 21 days.
- Work is Port Harcourt based and you may be required to attend courses in Shell IA PHC or other PHC locations as advised as well as other official assignments.
- There is a standard 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off schedule.
- The successful candidate will manage their absences with his/her contractor for suitably qualified covers.
- Personnel may be required to work extended hours as the need arises.
