Job Summary:
The General Manager (Operations) is responsible for overseeing and managing all operational activities within the company, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and optimal performance across all projects. This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, process improvement, and leadership to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring projects meet technical, financial, and operational targets.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, HSE policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in project execution.
- Manage budgets, contracts, and procurement processes.
- Lead and mentor operations teams to enhance productivity and performance.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Represent the company in high-level meetings with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Strong understanding of EPC project execution and management.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong financial and contract management experience.
