Skills
(Added advantage) |
· Ability to read and interpret process engineering flow schemes (PEFS) and process drawings.
· Basic understanding of Distributed control system. Preferably Yokogawa DCS · Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) · Excellent verbal and oral communication skills · Problem-solving and good analytical skills. · Self-Motivated and performs under minimal supervision · Demonstration of a full knowledge of wellhead systems & integrity management (installation, completion and testing of various components and seals) · Experience in actuator valves and ESD systems operation. · Experience in oil wellhead operations and troubleshooting skills. · A good understanding of the working principles of field instrumentation and process automation systems. |
Soft Skills | · Ability to understand and perform production operations (volume, pressure, flow) calculation.
· Ability to understand unit of various variables i.e., pressure, volume, flowrate etc. · Onsite Hazards identification and Risk assessment capability. · Flexibility and adaptability. · Ability to use Frontline maintenance to detect equipment and resolve same before failure. · Problem-solving and good analytical skills. |
Roles and Responsibilities | The Field Operator support will be responsible for the following:

Work Cycle | · The work location is a swamp based Oil and Gas Facilities (Soku Gas Plant and Flow station) accessible via Air.
· The job activity period is daily on 12-hour (7am to7pm) routine over a 21-day period work cycle. · There is a standard 3weeks on and 3weeks off schedule. · There may be need for periodic visits to Shell industrial area for trainings and official assignments. · Personnel may be required to work extended hours as need may arises.
